Printing to printer or PDF borders don't always show

When I print a form or report some of the borders of fields (left border,
particularly) do not show up. Yet, when I'm viewing it using Form View,
Report View or Print Preview (in Reports) the field boxes show up just fine!?
What's happening?

If they are hairline sometimes the dpi settings can be upped so they show.
At 300 dpi I think hairline lines of all sorts sometimes show and sosmetimes
do not show. Otherwise just make them 1 point.

I have seen this in pdf files.

Forms are for viewing and editing data on the computer screen. Reports
are for printing data to paper or to .pdf file.

Access optimises each for the task at hand. Your screen resolution may
be different from the printer's and things which look good in a form
onscreen may not look good as a form on a printed page. This applies
especially to thin lines and certain colours of background.

You can open a form and select from the Menu Mar -> File->Save As,
select Report then click OK.

I have to be honost, i don't think it is related to my printer or its
drivers. It prints perfectly to start out, whether to the actual printer or
PDF, but once I make a few changes, then it 'adjusts' and then has the
missing borders. What I think is happening is the left border of the field
shifts to the left too much, under the field title box, so then it doesn't
show. But, i can't figure out why this happens and why it picks only a few
fields to alter.
