Printing the Attachment field

S

Shane

I have a user that would like to print the attachment
field along with the To, From, and Subject. Does Anyone
know if this is possible and if it is, how do you do it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Shane

from the 'inbox' view, click on the e-mail that has the
attachment, go to file, page setup and choose memo
style...if you go to print preview, you will see that the
attachments will show as icons, it 'should' print.

....if you are using Outlook 2000, you have to change the
message from HTML to Plain Text if it still doesn't print
(you can do this in the original message by going to
edit/edit message and changing.

Shane,

I HAD the same problem and I hope that this helps you.

First I thought it was an XP vs. WIN2K issue as I (WIN2K)
showed the attachment on the print and the XP users print
did not. I changed the settings of the XP users E-Mail
account to "Use Cached Exchange Mode" and after exiting
Outlook and getting back in voila! the print showed the
attachments.

As an aside, Mine worked as I said under WIN2K but I just
checked and I do not have "Use Cached exchange Mode"
checked.

Go figure.

Best of luck.

Shane - Strange - this is the first time I have used
this forum, and for exactly the same reason - I need to
print the attachment field with the others in all (both
in and out emails). So please can anyone help !!!!
An interesting note - Outlook Express does!!.
Thanks

Kevin--How were you able to change the setting to "Use Cached Exchange Mode"? This appears to be a new feature for Outlook 2003. I'm using Outlook 2002; aside from editing my message and changing it from HTML to a Plain Text (only option available in Outlook 2002, i.e. Rich Text not an option)...are there any other workarounds
