1. Select the range you want to print and choose File, Print Area, Set Print

the Selection option
I had a little problem posting, here is a followup - this usually happens
when there is formatting in cells beyond the print range, this formatting
doesn't need to be visible, for example a bolded cell with nothing in it.
To clear this problem select all the columns to the right of you print area
and press Ctrl+- (control minus), do the same for all rows below your print
area, save the file.
Are you saying that though preview says 19 pages, it prints only 1?
Or are you saying that it prints 19, but that you'd like it to print only 1?
If the latter, I would suggest that you start by checking (and if necessary
setting again) the Print Area to ensure that you are not printing an area
outside what you want to print. Having ensured that you are printing the
correct area, you can adjust the scale of printing by File/ Page Setup/
Page: Scaling: Fit to 1 by 1
The problem is that there is only 1 page and it wants to print 19 pages.
The Ctrl minus trick the Shane Devenshire posted has worked. It now thinks
that there are 2 pages. With a little more work maybe I can get it down to 1
page.
Excel is making every cell it's own page (ie page break on every row, every
column). When I do the CTLR+- trick and the reset the print area (by first
clearing, then resetting) it gets it down to 1 page wide by 6 pages tall.
However if I then try to change anything - such as make it 1 page wide by 3
pages tall (or automatic for one and a number for the other), it just changes
to the thousands of page breaks again.
Any ideas???
