printing problem in word 2007

I have a legal size ducument in word 2007 that is printing letter size. I
set up my page layout as legal and I can not seem to figure out what the
problem is. This is atcually happening with a few documents.

reduced to Letter size?

There are scaling options in Word's Print dialog, but, absent some sort of
Print macro, this shouldn't make any difference, as the Print dialog resets
to No Scaling by default. OTOH, there may be some scaling option in your
printer Properties, which would be worth checking.

The print dialog is set to no scaling. I have been working on this for a
couple of weeks. Nothing I have tried works. But then again, I'm not the
most computer savy person. I was hoping it was a quick fix, but no such
luck. I'll keep trying. Please let me know if you think of anything else.

I am not surprised that the Print dialog is set to No Scaling; that is what
I would expect. That is why I suggested checking the printer Properties. In
the Print dialog, click on the Properties button and inspect the driver
settings to see if they include any page scaling.

I apologize if I am intruding, but this string seemed to be coming to an end.
I have a similiar, but different problem. When I try to print a legal size
doc, it just doesn't print the bottom part of the page if I tell Word to
ignore the "print outside margins" message and if I say ok to the message,
Word sets the margins so the bottom part doesn't print. Either way, I can
not print the last inch or so of the doc. My printer is set for legal sized
paper and i know it will print legal size documents because I have done it
with a different application.
