Printing Problem - Drivers

Recently I ran in to this problem and do not know where to ask this
question.
I may not be in correct newsgroups.
I have a windows shop running DC, File Server, Print Servers, DNS, under one
Domain running on Windows 2003 SP1. I have a seperate print server W2K3 SP1
serving 125 users and 15 printers. Everything works great. Clients run Win
2000 prof and XP pro.
Recently company got two new Workstations with Windows XP X 64 installed on
it. Now these machines are great but do not support 32 bit print driver. I
am trying to download and install X64 ver driver from HP and Canon and put
it on the Windows 2003 Server (32bit) and it does not accept it or in simple
words it's not supported. There are lots of Win XP X64 drivers on the HP's
web site and they work if I install them to local machine where Win XP pro
X64 installed but does not support/can not install the same driver to the
printer that's already installed on print Server/Server 2003.
Did anyone come across this situations yet.

Thanks

I pulled this out of the windows.64bit.general newsgroup. Just make sure
you read the Wizard pages as you add the drivers. You will get prompted for
the x64 inf file, the x64 OS dependent driver files, and the x64 Vendor
driver files. You can also create a flat file share on the x86 print server
which contains the x64 inbox drivers. (ntprint.inf, ntprint.cat,
driver.cab, sp1.cab from the x64 CD)
