How can I tell Outlook to print only ONE page of a multiple page email? I
can't seem to find how to do that. Thanks in advance to whomever has an
answer.

Candy,

I use Outlook 2002, an when I File/Print, a dialog comes up that lets me
select the printer, how many copies, and which pages to print. I'd
select page 1 to 1 and say OK. If I just click the print button, it
prints without a dialog.

Thanks for answering. I guess I should have been a bit more specific. I
have Outlook 2007, and I CANNOT find a place where it lets me choose SPECIFIC
pages to print. The only choices I see are All, Odd, or Even. If I have a
multiple page email, but only want to print one page, I can't do that.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Open the message, and under Other Actions choose "View in Browser". Then
use the browser's print function to print whichever page you want.

Thanks! That works, except for one thing - it opens up in IE, and my main
browser is Firefox. Is there any way I can change it to open up in THAT
browser.

Another choice is cuttiing and pasting whatever you want to print to your
word processor, and printing from there.

Doesn't look like it.....unfortunately. Someone more knowledgeable may
come along and tell us how to do it....

Depends on your Outlook version, which you decided to keep secret. In
general, you can select a portion to print if the messages is HTML and is
being rendered with Internet Explorer. Thus, for Outlook 2003 and earlier,
you'll need to convert the message to HTML if it's Rich Text or Plain Text
(Edit>Edit Message, then Format>HTML) and for Outlook 2007, open the message
in its own wndow, then click Other Actions>View in Browser.

No I didn't. Read all of my posts in this thread. Read my answer to Beege
above - Outlook 2007. Don't be sarcastic.

My question, written in respnse to Gordon remains:

THAT
browser.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to answer that.

Candy,

My PIM is Thunderbird, so any experience with Outlook is dated. Simple
answer from me is "I don't know".

You say your main browser is Firefox. So is mine. But is it your system
default? (I think probably, assuming you know what you're talking
about). That's the only thing I can think of to look into. Good luck
with this.)

Oh, and I have Tools/Options/Mail Format/"Use MSWord to edit email
messages" turned off... any help there?

Doesn't seem to matter, even if Firefox is set as default browser in
both Internet Options and Program access and Defaults the "View in
Browser" function in Outlook 2007 still opens IE....

To whom are you talking and about what?
The "forum" that you are posting in leaches off the Microsoft News servers
in order to make it look far busier than it really is. Everyone who uses the
MS News servers sees your post on it's own - we have NO IDEA what you are
talking about and to whom you are talking.

This is not your fault - the fault lies with the forum owners who do not
explain to members that their posts end up on global Usenet newsgroups.
If you MUST continue to post in this "forum" then please at least quote the
post you are replying to, and do NOT change the subject line.

You would be far better off however, using a news reader and subscribing to
these news groups direct.
