Printing Master doc & sub docs to PDF

In Word 2000 I have a Master Document containing links to
several subdocuments. I need to print everything to a PDF
file. I opened the Master doc in Outline view and expanded
the subdocuments, but when I print it to PDF, only the
Master document gets printed. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Heather

Master documents are unreliable beasts (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/RecoverMasterDocs.htm if you want to know
why they aren't much used!) but this sounds like a PDF problem.

If you don't need linking in the PDF, try printing to Distiller, or printing
to file using another PostScript printer driver and Distilling the
PostScript by hand.
