Printing mailing list directly to envelops using Access

I have come across what I thought would be a simple problem to solve. I
would like to print mailing lists directly onto envelops using Access.
Currently I print to labels and then put these labels onto the envelopes,
then a thought struck, why not print them directly onto the envelop. I have
tried custom page layout, but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions are deeply appreciated.

With your report open in design view, from the File menu select the Page
Setup option.

Change the Orentation to Landscape. Then from the Paper Size list select
the desired envelope size. In my testing for this I selected the Envelope
#10. Depending on your printer you may want to make a selection for the
Manual feed of just leave it set to automatic. You should set the Top margin
and the left margins to .25 or the smallest value your printer will permit.
Click OK to save your changes.

For the data source for your report, you may want to use a query that you
define for selecting data from your table. I feel that this way it is just
eaiser to combine fields like the City, State and ZipCode correctly with the
correct punctuation

I use a Label at the upper left corner for my retun address. Using a label
you can simply type in the first line of the return address and then press
Ctrl + Enter and enter the next line, etc.

Your fields for the mailing address should be placed starting at around 1
and 1/2 inches down from the top of the envelope and about 4 inches from the
left side. You can simply adjust them to any location where they work well
for you.

This will print an envelope for each record returned by your query.
