printing individual labels- # of the label won't advance beyond 1

I try printing individual labels and the boxes that allow you to choose
horizontal and vertical numbers won't move beyond 4 on the verticle and 1 on
the horizontal. Help.

I am using Office student and teacher edition 2003 and specifically Word.

Are you certain you've chosen a label type that supports more labels? It sounds
like you've chosen a label that's set up 1 x 4.
