Printing Hi Lited text

How do I Hi Lite a single paragraph and print that paragraph only. This
was possible and easy to do with windows 98.. With XP when I am only
interseted in one paragraph I get many pages.

Try File> Print instead of using the printer button. Any program that
offers printing selected parts of a page should cooperate. Internet
Explorer has this capability as well as a handful of applications. If not
having luck with the program you're printing from, copy and paste the
selected info into another program and then print the copied selection.
 
Another simple alternative -
If you have Word, just highlight that par, rt-click & select Copy, open a
new Word Doc, paste just the par there, then print that page.

Highlight what you want and click File | Print.
In the dialog box choose Selection.
