When students print their page from the browser (IE 6.0) after Preview in
Browser command in FrontPage 2002, the printout is not the same as it was on
their screen. The dark backgrounds don't show. The links/navigation in the
top and left shared borders don't show. We are using WinXP and FrontPage
2002 and an HP Business Inkjet 2300 PCL 5c printer. What do we need to do to
allow the printouts to be the same as the preview in the browser?

Background printing is a local browser option - it's not something you can
control from a web page.

Without actually seeing your page, it would be hard to say more, really.

To print background images in Internet Explorer:
In IE, Tools->Internet Options - Advanced tag
Scroll down to the Printing section
Tick the box "Print background colors and images"

This has to done on every copy of IE used to view the pages, the setting
cannot be controlled from the web page.

It's a browser setting.
Internet Explorer Toolbar > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, scroll down to Printing and check
the Box "Print Background Colors and Images. " Click Apply and then OK . Close and Re-open Internet
Explorer.
