inserted a textbox, converted it to a frame, inserted a text box form field
set to unlimited. lock from, typed text in form field. i see that i am
allowed to type past what's visible, in other words, some text is cut off at
this point. i printed it and get the same result-text cut off.
if an applicant fills in too much info, i know it will cut off. How can i
set it to where all info entered is printed out? Sonce this is an employment
application, seeing all information entered is vital.

Set the frame to an "at least" height (or width) so that it can grow with the
textbox content?

That's the thing, if the frame grows the layout of the form is thrown off and
that's the original problem i dealt with until i was told to set fixed width
& height measurements. Using "exactly" has worked at keeping the text in one
location (very important) but now I'm dealing with text cutting off when
typing & printed. I am pretty sure we don't need a huge frame for each
answer.

do i need to have huge frames for a large amount of text or is there
something i'm missing?

Well, consider a paper form. What would the person do who's filling out the form
if they ran out of space in a box?

There's no way to make a piece of paper show more than there's space for. Same
goes for printing out a document. Microsoft hasn't mastered additional
dimensions in print-outs, yet :-)

Since you have to print-out, think in those terms how you'd like to solve the
problem of the user having too mucht to say in such a small space.
