Hello gurus - Is there a way to print a #&@#% envelope with address from
OUtlook without having to open Word? I tried looking for the envelope
icon to add to the menu bars at the top, but could not find it. I use
Outlook 2002.

I just found a nifty third party download from Nereosoft
called ProWrite. It can be found at
http://www.nereosoft.com/index.htm

It's a free download for the labels portion, though you
have to register it for envelopes, faxes, memos etc. It
creates a drop-down menu where you choose labels,
envelopes, faxes etc. I've only been using if for a few
days, but I've been pretty impressed so far.

No. Outlook has always used Word for mail merges.
