Printing document so that "draft" appears across the page

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a document management, formatting
or printing issue so please have patience. In the past or
in previous Word versions, it seems that I was able to
print a document where "draft" printed across the sheet so
that the user would know that this wasn't a finalized
document, but I can't for the life of me, find where this
option is located, or if it is still availble.

Ring a bell with anyone. Your help or advice is greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mary

Depends on which version you have. If you have Word XP or newer, click
"Format", "Background", "Printed watermark" and fix one up there. If you
have an earlier version, I usually used the second from the top left WordArt
format in the Header, set it so a "Behind text" layout and set the fill
color to a gray and line color to "None".

Hopefully you have a newer version because it is much easier!
