Printing different portions of page on one page

How do you print different portions of a page on one page...I run xp home and a hp photosmart 7350 printer...i know how to print just a highlighted section...if i want to highlight a section and then move on to differentr section on the same page and print them both, i lose the original highlighted section...is it possible to print this way????
