Printing attachment list

Hi there,

I'm being asked by staff at a local company where I work if it's
possible, when printing an e-mail from Microsoft Outlook 2003, for the
list of attachments (i.e. just the names of the attachments, rather
than their content) to be printed on the message. This is highly
desirable as it means we can have a written record that attachments
have been sent and received as claimed.

Many thanks,

Andrew King

You can change html email to rich text or plain text and get this but it's a
bit of a hassle. You'll need to open the message then Edit | Edit message
and change it to rtf or plain text.
There are add-ins that can also do this. You can find one at:

You'll save the cost of the add-in in time.

Just to add to this: the attachment icon/info should really print by default
in Outlook 2003 with html email. There was a bug that prevented it but that
was fixed in Outlook 2003 by Office 2003 Service Pack 1. If Service Pack 1
is not installed then install it.

Many thanks for your time. Installing Service Pack 1 has done the
trick.

Kind regards,
