Printing A5 documents with footers and borders

When printing an A5 document from Word which contains a footer and a page
border, the footer (and bottom border) is cut off. I've tried increasing the
bottom margin to the maximum, but the border will not move, although I can
make the footer print. How can I move the border further up from the bottom
of the page so that it will print?
