Printer Wizard pop up

I installed Lexmark x1100 series on a usb port and I get the new found hardware pop up at start up
Need help getting rid of the wizard. I installed and uninstalled 2x.

Ah, but did you uninstall completely?

After cleanup, reboot the PC. Download a new set of printer drivers from
www.lexmark.com. Install the software. Do NOT connect the printer to the
PC until the software tells you to do so.

Let's start by saying that I am not an expert.
However, I have similar problems and I was told to go to
kelly's korner and look under "printer after reboot"
