Printer subsystem is unavilable

Dear Sirs

I am working with win2k server my systemis attached with a
network printer ,till yesterday it worked fine.But today
when I tried to print it's showing errors and when I check
the printers folder my printer has been deleted and when i
try to add printer it's showing the error "Printer
subsystem is not available"

Pls help me to fix it

Hi chris,

restart the comp OR at CMD prompt type "net start spooler"

Just had this problem myself (with w2k proffessional) on
one of my pc's. I looked at the knowledge base and found
the answer. Only trouble is (which is good)the other pc's
do not have this problem.
