printer spooling service not running error message

I recently moved my computer from one room to the next andsimply reconnected
everything. Once Irebooted the computer my printer has dissappeared from the
control panel and when I try to add printer it will not let me. I have tried
all the suggestions of manually restarting the spooler service etc. When I
try to load the printer the message just reappears. Any ideas? Please help.
All scans of the computer show no signs of a virus or spyware. Please help.

I am trying to re install my lexmark 6100 4 in 1 printer. it keeps saying
Print Spooler Service is not running. What is my next step for a solution to
my problem

I'm not sure what the Print Spooler is, but when I did the set up of the
printer it was where it stopped its forward progress. Is there a way to get
to the Printer Spooler?

I am having the same problem with my LexMark X4270 All in One setup...
However I am not seeing any answers posted here...Am I not looking in the
right place on the page or what?
