Been trying to figure this out for hours, any help would be GREAT.

Computer 1 is the desktop and is connected to the internet. Computer 2 is
the labtop and is connected the internet via wireless card (D-link wireless
router connected to computer 1). The internet works fine on both computers.
The printer is connected to computer 1 and I would like to share it with
computer 2. I ran the network wizard on both computers. Computer 1 has found
computer 2 and I can access files/printers on it. The PROBLEM is that
computer 2 can not find computer 1. When I press "View workgroup computers"
on computer 2, I get an error message saying "MShome is not accessible. You
might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path is correct
and the destination computer is not busy or turned off"

Computer 1 is running XP pro (Service Pack 2)
Computer 2 is running XP home (Service Pack 2)

I have enabled file/printer sharing in the firewall section

PLEASE ADVISE....thank you

I am having exactly same problems with Dell lab top(MS HOME). This occured
after I ran microsoft windows updates. Before then it was working just fine,
even though my desktop is MS professional.

Exactly, same process my Compaq lab top(MS Professional) is working just
fine. I am not sure either and I spent all day to figure it out. We really
need someone's help. IRA

Almost the same,
Computer 1 have WinXP pro SP2 + Proxy server of the computer 2 + No firewall
Computer 2 have WinXP SP1 + Printer no firewall

Computer 1 can see and use everything of the computer 2 but computer 2 can
only use internet but is unable to access the HD of the computer 1.

Both are sharing the entire content of HD./
