I have a user who is getting the printer notification every time she prints.
I know how to turn it off. The problem is that the "show information ..."
box that I would normally uncheck is greyed out. So, what do I have to do to
be able to access this box to uncheck it? Thanks for any and all assistance.

Delores,

Please tell us what make/model of printer it is & whether the user can get into
the registry

The printer tray icon will normally be running on the registry startup keys, but
some settings maybe held in the manufactures registry key. Some are even
controlled via the ADVANCED tab when you right-click the printer | Properties |
Advanced etc
