A lot of the printers of that age are not going to be fully supported in XP.
HP doesn't see the need to make new drivers, they want to sell you new
printers.
You might also find that the older parallel port printers really hog the CPU
processing when printing large graphical pages. You can improve that
performance by getting a USB to Parallel conversion cable, and connecting
your printer to a USB port.

Since installing Windows XP Pro , I have lost some HP Deskjet 722c
functions-especially the "book" feature. Is there any "fix"for this problem?
