Printed Calendar with Same Month at Top

J

Julie Powell

I posted this question in the Calendaring newsgroup and no
one knew of an answer. I haven't found any
acknowledgement from Microsoft that this is a bug. Would
like to know.

When printing my monthly calendar, the top of the page
shows thumbnail versions of the previous and next months,
like most calendars do. Except mine shows the current
month and the next month. It doesn't really help to have
the same month twice on the page! :) Any ideas? Or is
this a bug?

It's not just you, but as far as I know it's by design, so it's not
really a "bug". You might want to check out one of several available MS
Word templates that extract your Outlook calendar data and use it to
create a much more customizable Word calendar, which does show the
previous and next month thumbnail calendars at the top. Info and links
to these templates are available here:

Also, you might want to send a suggestion to Microsoft that they change
the thumbnail months in future versions of Outlook (it's too late for
Outlook 2003, but maybe for 2004...?). Send suggestions to
(e-mail address removed) with Outlook in the subject line. Microsoft DOES
read these messages, and the more people requesting a feature change,
the more likely it will happen.
