Print Spooler service not running

Recently my system quit recognizing my printer. When I try to add the
printer(Lexmark X125) I get a message "Operation could not be completed. The
print spooler service is not running.
Any ideas???
 
Hi

Try the following,

Goto start->Run

Type services.msc and click OK

You will get a services window, check for the service related to
Lexmark, usually it will be LexBce, right click on it and Start it.
You will have another service "Print Spooler", right click on it and
start it.

Restart the computer and check with printer.
