print spool size limit

How can I limit the size of the printing spool on windows 2000. Twice this
week I had a client computer spool a job up to 1.5 GB in size. I need to put
a cap on this to a resonable size. Can windows 2000 do this?

I think that its only the size of the driver that limit
the spool job. How about moving the spool directory?

Also you could look for another print driver. Often the
driver it self is the reason for the big spool size. Is
this a pdf file?

I could move the spool folder to the D: drive right now it resides on the C:
drive but that doesn't solve the problem. What if the job grows even bigger
on the D: drive? The users are just printing engineering prints nothing
special.

So what happens if you limit the size of the job, does the engineer only get
half the plot?

That is what i am asking can i limit the size of the job. The jobs shouldn't
be getting that big and if they are will change the driver or something to
make them smaller.
