Print Screen - copying in body of text

I am unable to get a print screen to paste into the body of my email - why?

Start - type snipping into search box - Snipping Tool

Print Screen is natively in .BMP format, which is not directly usable in
Windows Mail. Paste it into Paint, save as .JPG, then you can use that
..JPG file in Windows Mail.
