Print scaling to fit more on printed page

Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to scale down a web page size when
sending to a printer so that if a web page spans more than one printed page,
the scaling will cause more of the page to be placed on the first printed
page. I do see that under File->Print->printer preferences there is a
scaling option, however, this just scales down what IE has previously
decided will fit on the first page.

Mozilla has a nice feature within its Print Preview window that does this
(but IMHO has too many other bugs/shortcomings to use it exclusively). I
would think there must be some way to do this in internet explorer but I
cannot seem to find it.

Once you have selected View/Text Size, the smallest font then there is not
much you can to with IE.

You can Copy and past the text to your favorite word processor and edit it.

That's too bad. I am surprized this can't be done more easily. I did come up
with an alternate approach that kinda works. If I go into microsoft Word,
and under "open", type in the url, the page (and its graphics) are loaded
into Word (after a warning that I don't have write access to it). From the
Print Preview window, clicking on the "Shrink To Fit" button will perform
the action I am looking for.
