Print problem with QUicken 2003

Quicken made it clear that they cannot help me.

I am waiting to hear from HP support but that doesn't
look so good either. So here I am!!

Printer HP 1220c Quicken 2003 WindowsXP

Printer works with every other application and program on
my computer. But....when I try to print from Quicken
2003 the Quicken program closes down and exits me out.
No error messages whatsoever.

I hve reloaded the print driver and have uninstalled and
reinstalled quicken 2003 but with no help.

Any ideas??

I can successfully print from Quicken 2003 / XPpro / and a relatively
ancient HP IIIp. The 1220c is a newer printer, so you _ought_ to be
able to do it.

Which printer driver are you reloading? If it's the one that XP
supplies in the Add Printer Wizard, try downloading the latest XP driver
from hp: http://tinyurl.com/mk4o Then follow the steps at
http://tinyurl.com/mk4r

Make sure that Quicken is uptodate. Q2003 went to R3 before Q2004 came
out. If you haven't used Quicken's "One Step Update" do so.
