print preview

when I use my print preview in word it shows it at 25% and the zoom remains
on the document. I can put it at 100%, but it goes back to 25% with the zoom
still on it. How do I clear this up.

Hello perplexity,

It sounds like you Print Preview is set to show more than 1 page at a time.

Go to Preview and click the One Page icon on the left of the toolbar. That
should set your page to show fully on your screen.

manually put it up to 100%, but it goes back to 25%. How do I set print
preview at 100% as a default?

Hi Linda,

I've just tried this myself and you are absolutely right, if you change the
percentage it reverts back.

However, if you are wanting it to show you your full page by default (even
though this may not be exactly 100%) you can click on the Zoom button on the
Ribbon and instead of choosing 100% click the Multiple Pages option and click
on the first square for one page. Click OK.

This will show any document you have as a full page as soon as you go to
Print Preview.
