Print PDF attachment icon on sent email in Outlook 2000

I have seen numerous postings about problems printing an email that shows
attachments that were sent. However, the PDF icon does not print as an
attachment even by changing to Plain Text.

We are on Outlook 2000 SP3 and I don't know when we'll be upgrading to
Office 2003 which I know rresolves the problem.

Any other ideas? Thanks, Katherine

When I print a message from Outlook 2003, no matter its format, the
attachment icons print.
 
We are not on Office 2003 but Office 2000. Is there a way to get the PDF
attachment icons to print in Office 2000? Katherine

Only by changing the format of the message to plain text, but you said you
tried that.
