Print one line per record seperatly on a page

I want to back up on a hard copy our data entry to an old dot matrix printer,
one line per record. Entry is done using a data entry form. Using the
printout command in a macro I can print the data off the form each time a
record is entered but it uses a lot of paper. I also can print it to a one
line report, but when I send the data to the report it prints the line
correctly but then advances the page using even more paper. How can I get my
information to print one line per entry and utilize my paper well?

Steve,

Don't print the form, print the table the data is stored into, or a query on
it if you want selected fields and/or a filter.

When I print the table or query I get the same problem. Instead of printing
only my data for the filtered record it advances to the next page expending a
complete sheet of paper. In fact when I print from a table or a query it
prints a header and footer as well. I guess my real question is how do I
print a one line report/table/query over and over again on the same sheet of
paper? Thank you.
