Print notification

wxp sp 2, cannot get the print notification balloon to appear when printing
on a network printer, all settings in registry are correct and setttings in
printer/server properties/are set correctly. Any suggestions?

I know you said "all settings in registry are correct", but does the
problem PC definitely have the EnableBalloonNotificationsRemote registry
entry?

Thank for the response, yes it has the correct registry entries, I have a few
machines exhibiting this problem, on the one machine I am talking about it
happened suddenly, one day there, the next day gone.

yes, its a problem that even editing registry wouldnt resolve.
Problem is intermittent. Here today, gone tomorrow, then its back.
Anyway we had already given up hope, since all solutions doesnt work.
No real solution from internet either.
Hope they resolve this in Vista.
