Print margins on a report

When I try to change the bottom print margin on my report, access will not
allow the change and it will automatically go back to 1". I have tried
changing it through page setup in design view, print preview and in the
tool/options/general tab.
I am new to this so if anyone has a solution I would be truly grateful.

Access will not exceed the margin limits of the print driver being used.
Sounds like your printer has a minimum bottom margin of 1 inch.

That is rather high though. I have seen older ink-jets with a minimum
bottom margin in the .6 to .7 range, but the only printer driver I have
encountered with a minimum as high as a full inch was a plotter.
