Print labels rather than numbers from combo box

I have a report based on a crosstab query that displays the values 0-5 as the
column headings. These values come from a combo box attached to the field in
the underlying table.

Combo box:
0-AA
1-BB
....

How do I get Access to display AA, BB,... as column headings on the report,
rather than the numbers?

Don't know if this is relevant, but the table shows AA, BB, ... in the
column b/c I set the column widths for the combo box to 0, 0.3.

Thanks.

Your crosstab query should include the table that stores the actual values
you want to display.

Apparently you are using the mis-feature of lookup fields defined in tables.
Most of us old programs can't stand these.

Thanks for the answer. Worked like a charm.

Since I'm not a programmer, just a basically self-taught Access user, what
is your suggestion? No lookup fields in tables, only on forms?
