Print hang halfway through Doc

I have a user with Word 2003 trying to print an 18 page document. It will
print the first four pages fine, then it stops printing and Word hangs. I
opened the document on my PC and encountered the same problem. I converted
the doc to pdf and it printed fine. I "Open and recover" the original
document, but still had the print problem. I set the macro security to low
and tried it, same problem. Any idea what is causing a failure to print
after four pages?
