print error message

Hello, I have 2 unrelated questions:
1) how to make a custom error message pop op?
2) what are the events assosiated with changing between records on a form
(clicking previous/next record or moving mouse wheel)?
 
and question number 3:
I deleted definition of a procedure 6 days ago [but forgot to delete its
procedure calls]. I was editing recompiling and runing the application; but
only today it gives me error on it. Probably I was supposed to uncompile it
before I compiled it if I wanted to make sure everything is right 6 days ago.
What do I need to do before compiling if I want to compile starting with a
clean file?
