Karen,
Follow these steps:
1) Open Tools Menu, click Customize
2) With Customize dialog displayed, open File menu and drag the Print
command onto the document, then release the mouse button. This removes the
command from the menu.
3) Go to the Commands tab in the Customize dialog. With "File" category
highlighted on left, scroll the commands list on the right and find
"Print..." NOTE: there are two different print commands; you want the one
with the ellipsis (...), which means that Word will display a dialog to get
more info when you run the command.
4) Click the "Print..." command and drag it onto the File menu where the
other command was located before you removed it.
5) Close the Customize dialog. You should be set!
Regards,
Chad

My friend is having a problem with Word. She goes to File, Print and the
document is sent to the printer without launching the print dialogue box.
This happened suddenly. Any idea how to reverse this?
