Previous owners name on cookies as owner!!

have deleted account from original owner but i can't
seem to get my name on windows files and can't seem to
change where it says in cookies at temp int files Jonh
(e-mail address removed) or john smith@ msn.com.I am trying to
delete that name from computer or replace it with mine.I
have paper work from search but not sure on all
directions.Says open hidden files from win.exp.and find
owners file e,open and hold ctrl and click on folders in
file then on edit click copy then after that???????If any
one can simplify it for me,please.Thank you!

Create a new account for yourself, then log off the current account,
log in to your new account, then delete the old account.
