Can I preview contents of a file in Windows XP Pro when I am using WIndows
Explorer to see a list of my files? Thought I had been able to do this in
Windows before, but perhaps not in XP.

Thanks.

Open up 'My COmputer'
click on Tools
Click on Folder Options
Clcik on Reset Defaults

Now a preview will be available to you under the 'Details' heading on the
left side.

Thanks, but this did not provide desired results. I could view limited
"Details" but I want to see the document itself. For example, if it is a
Word document, I would like to be able to read it thru a thumbnail prior to
opening it.

Again, thanks. Any other suggestions?

Please respond in English, only. I have received 2 responses in languages
with which I am not familiar.

Thanks.

Yes, that (Reset Default) does Nothing for the Preview, and does not address your problem.
