Is it possible to turn off the preview pane in Outlook 2007?

On the toolbar at the top of the window, click on View.
On the menu that pops down, point to Reading pane.
Select Off.

US-based free Yahoo accounts have web access only (using your browser).
Windows Mail will not work with webmail-only accounts.
You can pay extra to get Yahoo's POP access:
http://mailplus.mail.yahoo.com

Another possible option: http://ypopsemail.com
