Using Access 2002 we have a form containing an image control. Images to that
control would be linked. What we would like to be able to do is for the
user, using the standard Windows File Open/Save dialog box, to be able to
select an image and being able to preview it before adding to the image
control.

Any advice/suggestions as to the best way to achieve this would be
appreciated

TIA
Tom

In recent versions of Windows, in the first instance by switching the
File|Open dialog to display thumbnails. In Windows XP you can
right-click on a thumbnail or icon in the dialog and click Preview to
see it in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, or Open or Open with to
view it in another graphics viewer or editor.

If that's not enough, write code to do what you want.

Hi John

Thanks for input but how would the user be able to preview image?
