Preventing the general of XML FrontPage 2002

Is there a way to prevent Frontpage 2002 from generating
XML?

could you explain what it's doing. I've got fp 2002 and use it a lot and it
doesn't do it to me.
what kind of xml and where is FrontPage putting it?

Gentleman,
Thank you for your replies.
I solved the problem. The webmaster for organization I
work for sent me an email to fix "XML problem" with
FrontPage (I am the part-time application support person).
Apparently, the issue was not a "XML problem" but Casading
Style Sheet and <STYLE> tag with webpages our volunteer
webpage designers were generating using Frontpage.
I assumed he knew what he was talking about and did not
ask for an example of the webpages.
I apologize for wasting your time.
