preventing logon screen

FCBfreak

Hi,

I included the Autologon component into my slx-configuration combined
with Administrator Account component in order to prevent logon screen
from displaying.

I entered the username (i.e. "Administrator") and password in the
Autologon component for the account I which to logon with
(administrator account).

I also added the password from autologon to the Administrator Account
component in the extended properties cmiUserPassword.

However, the logon screen is still appearing!

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

There is a few other items that you want to do.

1. Disable "windows Friendly logon screens" in the Windows Logon (Standard)
component.
2. The is a registry setting to disable Windows display messages, which will
disable the dialog based login. I forget what it is at the moment. There was
a recent post on this topic.

I indeed checked "Show Friendly Winlogon", maybe that could be the
cause...

In my system I auto login by doing the following.
Run-> control userpasswords2

Uncheck the checkbox requiring to login.
Then it will ask you for a username and password.
Hit apply.

I do that post fba.
On my system the same username needs to be logged in all the time and that
user needs a password.
