Preventing database editing by users

How do I lock down my DB to prevent users from modifying forms and tables in
2007?

Can I make the entire ribbon disappear like I could menus in 2003?
 
Carefully read the Access help files on security. I'm sure you will find what
you need.
 
Except that there's no user-leve security in Access 2007: it was removed.
