Preventing Always a boot check of partition D: at boot-time ?

When I boot my computer WinXP ALWAYS checks my NTFS-partition D: with CHKDSK.

It never found an inkonsistency. So why does WinXP always check this partition on no other ?

How can I force WinXP not to do it ?

Run a "chkdsk d:" from *within* Windows
[Start > Run > cmd > chkdsk d: ]

When it finishes it should be flagged as clean.

Try using MSCONFIG to turn off your startup programs.

Start/Run/MSCONFIG/ Startup Tab

Turn off all programs. Does the problem go away?
