Prevent tabs from printing

How can I set up certain tabs so they will not print?

Specifically: I have two tabs with calculations that
should not print as part of the final report. I would
like to use Adobe PDF on the file without opening and
selecting tabs. The only partial solution I have found is
to set the print area to an empty cell, so the page prints
out as blank. I would prefer that the tabs are not part
of the final report at all. Is there a way to make this
happen?

Do you mean "sheet tabs" that you don't want to print? If so I suggest this:
let's say you have six tabs and you don't want to print #2 and #4. Click on
#1, Ctrl-click on numbers 3, 5, and 6, then issue the print command. Numbers
2 and 4 will not print.

You say you want to accomplish the printing "without opening and selecting
tabs". How are you creating the PDF file? Are you now dragging the file to the
Adobe Acrobat icon? If that's the method you use, it's not possible to skip
sheets.
