Prevent Subform edit

I would like to prevent a user from resizing the fields in the subform since
i have tried both mdb and mde but the subform field can still be resized. Can
this be done?
 
Set the Sub form from DataSheet to Continues form where the fields look like
a data sheet.
 
Thanks but that throws the design a tad off so i guess if that is the
recourse then i will stay with current design.
