prevent import of tables by VBA

i have an MDB-File in that it is necessary to prevent the import of
tables into the MDB. Is this possible by VBA?

If it were necessary, I doubt if Microsoft would have offered the option
to do it.

No I don't have an example, but knowing more about the problem may open
up other solutions. Frankly I can't figure out why importing a table is a
problem.
