So I'm looking at our router's traffic logs, and discover every morning
at 2am our servers in the DMZ get hammered between 2am and 3:45am.
Come to find out, all our WinXP PC's are by default running their
Defender system scans at that time, and come to find it, it scans the
mapped network drives on each PC as well.
I found where you can create a custom scan and select only the local
hard drives, but you can't use that custom scan as an option for the
automatic daily scans.
At the moment the best I can do is set all the PC's so the auto-scans
are staggered throughout the night, but I REALLY want to set it to not
scan mapped drives.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!
